Here is a fun design that I worked on awhile ago and finally had the chance to post it. I decided to create a female sugar skull vector illustration. I started with the head and face, then decided to take it a step further by adding the background with the flourishes, sun ray, text, and border. I decided to use the word “Beso”(Spanish for “kiss”), because I think the face has a pretty element and a kiss from a pretty face seems fitting. You can see below the before and after of head. I enjoyed this experimentation and hope to improve with each illustration that I work on.
